All the facilities and bedrooms are built around a central courtyard providing a quiet, secure environment. Apart from the accommodation listed above, communal facilities are available, including a specially designed nursery.

Care and support is focused on the skills necessary for parents to correctly and compassionately care for babies and small children. The normal stay would be for a planned twelve weeks when a formal assessment will be carried out in conjunction with Local Authority Children’s Social Workers.

Woodstone provides support to enable a smooth transition into the wider community. It also emphasises the value of self-sufficiency in cooking and household budgeting.

Working with local authorities, Woodstone provides a high standard of accommodation according to the needs of each baby. Care is by planned admission, and the duration of the placement is subject to their individual needs and the consideration of the Local Authority.
